Articulation Program

The program is composed of several committees that will work on the different aspects concerning the realization of the program. Hence, the program comprises several phases that will be conducted on different dates and areas in Caraga region.

The first phase of the program was successfully facilitated in the selected schools in Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur last October 16-18, 2007. The team is composed of twenty (20) members that will help promote the school, each of the team were given 10-15 minutes talk to 4th year students on the Mission, Vision, facilities and the program offering of SCC. The said students were very attentive and responsive upon hearing the presentation. They were so amazed with the pictures that they saw. Some queries were also asked with regards to our program offered. Indeed, excitement was left in their hearts to see the “MSU – Marawi” version in Butuan City.

It was a great experience for everyone, in fact the members are all excited for their next voyage…….

SCC is now ready to accept Foreign Students

The Buraeu of Immigration (BI), Manila, has recently granted Sunrise Christian College Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. the authority to enroll non-immigrant FOREIGN STUDENTS. The ORDER was issued Last September 19,2007 by BI Commissioner Marcelino C. Libanan. This has been materialized through the efforts of SCC’s School Registrar, Mr. Antonio C. Medroso with the help of Mr. Carlito Garido, BI’s Chief of Butuan City together with his Administrative Aide, Ms. Grace Herman.

The issuance of this ORDER is in compliance to the policy set by the Philippine Government regarding foreign students. SCC is now expecting the influx of foreign students specially now that it has tied up with Korea Christian University. Hopefully, KCU will be sending students on January next year as part of the Student-Exchange agreement between the two schools.

Colloquium 2007

As part of  Faculty Development Program, Sunrise Christian College will conduct two day seminar on “Formulation of Policies and Guidelines for Faculty” and “Administrators Development Training”. This event will be held on October 30-31, 2007 from 8:00 Am – 5:00 Pm in SCC Multi-Purpose Building. Our invited guest speaker will be Dr. Danilo Padua who is the Special Assistant to the President of Benguet State University, Director of University Business Affairs Office, a Scientist and presently the Dean of College of Agriculture. Hopefully, Dr. Padua will be included to the existing members of Sunrise Board of Trustees.
