The recent August 26, 2007 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) showed for the first time Sunrise LET passers:
- Eric Saracosa – BS Education graduate
- Geraldine Bacante – BARE graduate
Congrats! also to Sunrise Faculty:
- Julius T. Alim – took additional units in Sunrise before taking the board exam

Sunrise joined the 5 day athletic competition with different schools, competing in different events in the Elementary and High School levels.
The following are the events won by our students:
- VOLLEYBALL (Boys) - 3rd place (Coach: Mr Ernie Salamanca)
- Boxing - 3 got 2nd place (Coach: Mr. Robert Acapulco)
- Athletics – 3rd place (Coach: Ms. Rheomie Opiasa)
- Taekwando - 4 got 2nd place and one 3rd place (Coach: Joash Dayucos)
- Badminton – Single (boys) – 1st place; Mixed/Double – 3rd place (Coach: Ms. Sheryl Martinez)
